Case Study: RAM 1500 GVM Upgrade
The Light Vehicle team at CPR Automotive recently completed a GVM upgrade on a RAM 1500 in their Rutherford workshop, fitting a Touring Solutions kit to boost performance and capacity. The TSA GVM upgrade kit included replacing the factory upper control arms, springs, and shocks with TSA’s signature Apex series. This package also featured AirBag Man airbags to enhance comfort during everyday driving, towing, or when carrying heavy loads. CPR Automotive is a registered supplier and installer of Airbag Man systems.
Following the upgrade, the RAM’s legal carrying capacity increased from the factory 3,450kg to 3,850kg, while payload capacity rose to 1,188kg. Touring Solutions’ comprehensive range of kits can enhance your RAM’s GVM capacity up to 4,200kg.
